I have just begun painting Still Life. Of course, I have painted hundreds of Still Life paintings while learning to paint, but I have never approached them as serious subject matter for my paintings. In the past, I have been bored by them. Perhaps I have finally gotten old enough to appreciate them.


All my work is about stillness and contemplation, so what better subject than the still life around me.
